Homemade Almond Milk
Enjoy this healthy homemade almond milk with shakes, smoothies or even in cooking in place of heavy cream.
Soak almonds in 2 cups of water for at least 8 hours or overnight. After almonds have soaked, remove the water and rinse almonds several times.
Pour the soaked almonds into a blender and add 2 cups fresh water. Blend the soaked almonds until they are pulp.
Let mixture sit in blender for 5-10 minutes. Strain and squeeze the milk into large bowl using a nut bag, cheesecloth, or juicer.
